Biografie

Moments of daydreaming are translated into a visual journey. Capturing daily cityscapes
and making them into animations, Annabella creates surreal sceneries in a subtle and
quiet way. The emotional distance towards her surrounding is overcome by making it her
own - projecting her own stories on the existing cement. Some of the sceneries have been
on her daily way since a young age - always been fascinated by the impact of architecture.
Seeing the sometimes dull daily-life-surrounding as a scene by playing the role of the
director, it enables her to change the setting and to develop a playful view towards her
environment.

Annabella Randel is doing a MA Royal College of Art, London (2017-2019)
